Islamabad — National University of Sciences and Technology hosted a delegation from Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University as part of an academic exposure visit aimed at providing students with insight into NUST’s academic environment, research culture, and student life.
The delegation was led by Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, Chancellor of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, accompanied by faculty members and students. During the visit, Dr. Rubina Mushtaq called on Prof. Dr. Osman Hasan, Pro-Rector Academics, National University of Sciences and Technology, where matters pertaining to higher education, academic collaboration, and student development were discussed.
The visiting students were briefed on NUST’s academic programs, research initiatives, innovation ecosystem, and opportunities available for higher education and professional growth. The session was designed to provide meaningful academic exposure and encourage students to explore future educational pathways.
A special highlight of the visit was the interactive engagement with NUST students belonging to Balochistan, who participated in the session and shared their experiences of academic life at NUST. They also addressed questions from the visiting students regarding university life, admissions, academic opportunities, campus facilities, and student support systems, making the interaction both informative and relatable.
The delegation appreciated NUST’s academic excellence, student-centered environment, and commitment to promoting inclusive educational opportunities for students from across Pakistan.
The visit concluded with an interactive discussion and exchange of commemorative shields, reaffirming the importance of inter-university engagement and academic outreach initiatives aimed at empowering students through exposure and collaboration.
