Summary

Dr Amin is an associate professor at the NUST School of JSPPL,I bring extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic governance within higher education, having served on key statutory and quality bodies including the Board of Studies, Disciplinary Committee, Syndicate (the highest decision-making body), Academic Council (the apex body for curriculum and academic policy), and Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). Through these roles, I have contributed to curriculum review and development, policy formulation, institutional and policy mapping, quality assurance, and stakeholder consultations. In parallel, I have served as Editor of the AWCI Journal and currently sit on the Advisory Council of the Journal of Social Sciences at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, strengthening my engagement with academic standards, peer review processes, and research quality assurance. In addition, I have led capacity-building and large-scale training interventions for faculty cohorts under the Interim Placement for Fresh PhDs (IPFP) at the Higher Education Commission (HEC), with a strong focus on pedagogy, inclusive learning environments, and student-centred approaches. My teaching, training, and advisory experience integrates key thematic areas such as student mental well-being, health, psycho-social support, safeguarding, and equity in learning.
